I used design 2, for a template to this design, however i did change the front cover slightly as i have used three images, as i thought it reflected the use of split screen in the music video, because of the way i used one main image and smaller images along the side to show the surroudings in the music video.
The inside overs are very moody and seem to work well even though the images are quite bleached. The wintery sun rays seem to echo the wistful atmosphere of the video.
ReplyDeleteAs with the advertisement - does the positioning of shannon hurley work in relation to sunrise? Is it absolutely centred - what would it look like aligned along bottom row?
The image of the pier doesn't seem as strong as the advertisement. Should this image be more recognisable/similar in both texts? The top right hand shadow seems omimnous rather than wistful? Could you lighten the pier image - make it less yellow so that the contrast is similar strength to the advertisement?
